Members of parliament explore the METAK plant

IQ Neftchala was established in accordance with the 2015 decree of the President of Azerbaijan and was inaugurated by him on September 24 of this year. There are seven high-class production areas, a two-story administrative building, technical and auxiliary buildings built on the territory of the quarter.

Resident entrepreneurs are provided with various services, including general accounting, legal advice, insurance, postal delivery, as well as medical services, a technical library, a start-up office and a canteen. Free Internet access is available throughout the quarter. A total of 474 permanent jobs have been created in IQ Neftchala.

Deputies also learned about the activities of other residents of IQ Neftchala.

The annual production capacity of the METAK plant for plastic products, including agricultural packaging, is 2 million units.
